Run with Heart. Race for Breakthroughs. Join Team EE at the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend to Support People with Cystic Fibrosis

Join Team EE to turn every mile of the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend into momentum for lifesaving breakthroughs for those with cystic fibrosis still waiting for a cure.

Philadelphia, PA—July 1, 2025—Emily’s Entourage (EE), an innovative 501(c)(3) organization accelerating research for individuals with cystic fibrosis (CF) who do not benefit from existing mutation-targeted therapies, is proud to announce that registration is now open to join Team EE for the 2025 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, taking place November 21–23, 2025.

Whether you’re a first-time runner or a seasoned athlete, Team EE has bibs available for every race, including the Rothman Orthopaedics 8K, Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon, and AACR Philadelphia Marathon. Set against the vibrant backdrop of one of the top 10 marathons in the U.S., the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend is a beloved event known for its flat, fast course, historic scenery, and electric community spirit.

But this is more than just a race—it’s a race to save lives.

When you run with Team EE, every mile you conquer helps accelerate lifesaving breakthroughs for the final 10% of people with cystic fibrosis (CF) who have been left behind by current mutation-targeted therapies. While recent advances have transformed the outlook for many, thousands are still left behind—living with a life-threatening, progressive genetic disease and no effective treatments.

“As someone in the final 10% of the CF community, I wake up every day facing a relentless disease that is stealing my breath, my dreams, my friends, and my future,” says Emily Kramer-Golinkoff, Co-Founder of Emily’s Entourage. “That’s why we’re running—not just to cross the finish line, but to create a future where every single person with CF can breathe freely and live the full, vibrant lives they deserve.”

By joining Team EE, you’ll receive:

  • An Emily’s Entourage race shirt and goodie bag
  • Access to a designated team area at the start/finish line with refreshments
  • A cheering squad full of heart and gratitude on race day
  • A fundraising toolkit, templates, and expert guidance to help you succeed
  • An opportunity to be spotlighted on EE’s blog and/or social media—sharing what inspires you to be part of #TeamEE
  • The chance to turn your miles into momentum for lifesaving breakthroughs

More than a bib, more than a run—your participation helps power the urgent race for breakthroughs for those who need them most and are running out of time.

Ready to run for something bigger than yourself?

Join Team EE and help us cross the most important finish line of all: a future without CF.
