Emily’s Entourage Hosts 2023 Annual Evening with Emily’s Entourage Gala: True North
Gala to be held at Philadelphia’s Historic Mann Center for the Performing Arts, Offering Views of the City’s Skyline.
Philadelphia, PA – October 2, 2023 – The stage is set, the anticipation is building, and the countdown has begun for one of the most incredible and inspiring events of the year – the 2023 Evening with Emily’s Entourage (EE) Gala: True North. On Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA, will transform into a hub of elegance, philanthropy, and hope, rallied around EE’s mission: Accelerating lifesaving research and drug development for those in the final 10% of the cystic fibrosis (CF) population that do not benefit from existing mutation-targeted therapies.
Four years ago, the FDA approved a revolutionary new therapy that benefited 90% of the CF population. The outlying 10% of the community, for whom these mutation-targeted therapies do not apply, are still waiting for their breakthrough. Since its founding in 2011, that has been EE’s singular focus: accelerating breakthroughs for the final 10%.

This year’s theme, “True North,” was inspired by the concept of the North Star. It represents EE’s singular goal to accelerate breakthroughs for the final 10% of the CF community that does not benefit from mutation-targeted therapies – EE’s reason for being. The North Star is also a navigational tool that serves as a guiding light. This year’s True North theme celebrates the progress EE has achieved over the past 12 years. EE’s Founder and CEO, Emily Kramer-Golinkoff, will deliver a keynote speech during the program to reveal the organization’s newest exciting progress.
