Emily’s Entourage heads to the CFF!

Hi all!

Tomorrow Emily and her family head to Bethesda, MD to present a check on behalf of Emily’s Entourage to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). The check is for $83,233.82, which is being doubled dollar for dollar by an incredibly generous anonymous donor, which brings the sum total to $166,467.64. For the record, the donor is anonymous even to Emily’s family!

At the national office, Emily and her family will meet with Foundation leadership, including CEO and president, Dr. Bob Beall, as well as hear fundraising and medical updates. They will also hand over a special thank you video filmed for the donor family to express their profound gratitude. The video will be posted publicly soon as well.

The family is so excited about the meeting that Coby, Emily’s brother, is flying all the way from college in New Orleans just for the day so that he can attend as well! How’s that for commitment? They also created an enlarged check for ceremonial and photographic purposes.
