At Emily’s Entourage (EE), we believe that magic can happen when you believe in your power to make a difference. Our Champions program celebrates philanthropic leaders who have recognized their change-making abilities and are helping us speed lifesaving breakthroughs and a cure for people with cystic fibrosis (CF) who do not benefit from currently available therapies.
Why Become a Champion?
Champions are committed to making a difference and share in our belief that each one of us has the power to change the world for the better. When you become a Champion, you join the disruptive, change-making force that is EE.
In addition to making a difference in the lives of those with nonsense mutations of CF, our Champions have the opportunity to network with other philanthropic leaders and are celebrated in a variety of ways, including being recognized across our digital channels and at our annual galas. Plus, the top fundraiser will take home our “Champion of the Year” award!
Who Can Participate?
The Champions program is open to anyone of any age. Register as an individual, with a partner, or as a team (think: spouses, friends, siblings, roommates, sororities and fraternities, coworkers, sports teams, school classrooms). The sky is the limit and there are no age requirements!
Commitment
When you sign on to become an Emily’s Entourage Champion, you commit to meeting a fundraising goal of $1,500. There are a variety of ways you can meet your goal, including reaching out to your network via social media or email, taking one of your favorite hobbies or activities and turning it into a fundraiser, donating an item to EE’s Charitybuzz auction, and more! The opportunities are endless!
Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you’re well-equipped to make that “ask” of your connections, whatever route you decide to take. When you sign up to become a Champion, you’ll have a number of resources at your disposal, including:
- A personalized fundraising page
- Custom email and text templates to streamline communications with your donors
- Support and advice from our Champions subcommittee chair and EE staff
