O 4th Annual EENY: ULTRA VIOLET in NYC is just around the corner on May 4, and Emily’s Entourage (EE) is absolutely thrilled to announce the full lineup of the immersive artistic and musical experiences in store at Anderson Contemporâneo, 180 Maiden Lane in the Seaport District of Manhattan. You don’t want to miss this! EE is incredibly grateful and humbled by the amazing performers and artists who have agreed to go ultra violet on May 4 to raise critical funds for research to cure nonsense mutations of Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Musical Performances
FDVM — Headlining DJ
Best known for their contagious good vibe and uplifting house music at major shows worldwide including Coachella, Outsidelands, and Tomorrowland, Florent and Victorien of FDVM are on a mission to spread joy. This French Duo has countless followers and more than 100+ million plays on their original music. They serve the crowd epic and positive sounds by skillfully navigating between mainstream and underground music.
DJ DEMODA — Pop/R&B
DeModa is a Brooklyn-based musician and Pop/R&B producer who’s ethereal sounds and styles have penetrated ears across oceans and borders. With the success of his hit single “Downtown Glow,” just a quarter shy of 1 million streams on Spotify, he wants you to know he’s just getting started. David began his musical journey at age 12, when his uncle and mother chipped in to get him his very first guitar for Christmas. Since then, he’s expanded his interests to other instruments as well as music production and DJing. When he’s not crafting sounds for his DeModa project, he’s producing songs for other artists and working on his label-backed secret duo project set to release their debut EP this year.
DJ COOLHAND — Remixologists
Luke started his DJ journey lugging turntables, digging for vinyl and collecting old crates of music at local radio stations in his hometown of Oakland, California. He’s held DJ residences at The Boot, Jax Brewery and The Willow and opened for artists including G-Eazy, Young Money, Wu-Tang, and Miguel. Luke’s versatility shows in spades; his sets are spontaneous, interactive and ready to adapt to the energy of any crowd.
LEXIE LOWELL — Singer/Songwriter/Instrumentalist
Brooklyn’s first pop-harpist, Lexie’s voice soars above the strings of her harp in an ethereal harmony, evoking the melodic storytelling of Joni Mitchell and the dynamic vocal range of Sara Bareilles. Lexie’s music tells stories that are unmistakably her own; she reflects on her hope and pain with honesty and forgiveness. A singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose journey has taken her through turns on stage (Broadway’s 2015 Revival of Spring Awakening) and screen (starring in the indie flick Manifest Destiny Down) to her first and highly-anticipated studio EP, The Music Box, Summer 2019.
Visual Artists
ALEX NERO — Experimental
Alex Nero is an interdisciplinary artist whose current body of work utilizes experimental techniques with chemistry and physical dynamics of paint within vessels of water, captured by digital photography. Nero’s imagery inspires a dialogue with the subconscious, allowing a unique experience through individual interpretation. His work has reached millions and can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the world.
MURT — 3D Painter
Murt is a painter based out of New York City who specializes in 3D Anaglyph artwork. Recognized by vibrant colors, shapes, and figures in his paintings, he has sold artwork to collectors and major organizations internationally. Many of the themes in his paintings including mental health and human rights issues have been sold in major New York City Auction Houses and organizations including Mental Health America and Minds Ahead. His art has been in global publications including MTV, Snapchat, and The Tab.
IAN SULLIVAN — Traditional/Graffiti
Ian’s pieces are easily recognized by his unique style, a fusion of traditional and graffiti elements. He uses spray paint, acrylics and ink to create cityscape murals, illustrations and intricate designs with hidden words that capture the spirit of New York City. His solo show, When Life Gives You Lemons, is currently on display at Anderson Contemporary (our beautiful EENY venue!), where he partnered with Eesho to host a solo art show for 400 guests in support of Art Start. Recent commissions and collabs include Post Malone, Disney, Swizz Beatz, SLAM, One World Trade Center, Keith Urban, Kipling, and Barclays Center.
JULIE GRATZ — Animator
Julie Gratz is a Director, Animator, and Artist who combines her musicality and skill in fine art to create animations that perfectly compliment the music they accompany. She grew up painting, drawing, dancing, choreographing, and performing on stage, so animation has become a beautiful culmination of all of her training and experience. She continues to spend time on personal and commissioned paintings as well, never limiting herself with one genre. Julie co-founded and is Executive Director of Kaleida Studio, a video and animation production studio that specializes in animation for film, music, documentary, and commercial projects.
ZEEHAN WAZED — Perceptual
With a background in perceptual psychology, artist Zeehan Wazed explores the philosophical side of mathematics in his mind bending paintings and drawings. Wazed often incorporates the principles of topology and shape theory into his work—areas of mathematics, which analyze concepts like space, dimension, and transformation. The artist executes his work while considering these miraculous mathematical equations that describe how shapes are able to bend and stretch, producing mesmerizing images, which highlight our innate ability to find patterns and associations everywhere we look.

ADAM MARZ — Light
A Los Angeles based light artist with a highly diversified portfolio in concert touring, high-end corporate events, installation and special events makes Adam known among clients, fans and peers alike as “The Atmospheric Director”. He has worked as the lighting director for Banks, All American Rejects, T-Pain, Esports, XGames, and more.
