The Race for Breakthroughs Starts Here: Join Team EE for the 2026 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend
This November, be a part of turning miles into lifesaving momentum for the final 10% of people with cystic fibrosis still waiting for breakthroughs.
Philadelphie, PA—July 13, 2026—Emily’s Entourage (EE), an innovative 501(c)(3) organization accelerating research and drug development for individuals with cystic fibrosis (CF) who do not benefit from current mutation-targeted therapies, is thrilled to announce that registration is now open for Team EE for the 2026 Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, taking place November 20–22, 2026.
From first-time runners to seasoned marathoners, Team EE invites participants of all experience levels to be part of one of Philadelphia’s most anticipated race weekends. Limited bibs are available across all race events, including the Rothman Orthopaedics 8K, Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon, and the TIAA Philadelphia Marathon.
Widely recognized as one of the nation’s premier marathon weekends, the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend draws runners from across the country with its fast, scenic course through historic neighborhoods, iconic landmarks, and an atmosphere powered by extraordinary community spirit.
But for Team EE, this weekend is about far more than medals and finish lines.
Every mile run and every dollar raised helps push urgently needed breakthroughs closer to reality for the final 10% of people with CF unable to benefit from current mutation-targeted therapies. While recent scientific advances have transformed care for nearly 90% of people with CF, the final 10% have been left behind—facing a progressive, life-threatening genetic disease with limited options and time running out.
