EE beim Narberth CF Run!
Hallo zusammen!
This past Saturday (4/21), EE members participated in the Annual Narberth Cystic Fibrosis Run. It is a 5-mile hilly course that winds through the streets of downtown Narberth. The race draws roughly 1000 participants each year, and the money raised helps to fulfill wishes of individuals living with cystic fibrosis. To learn more about the race, please click hier.
We were very lucky to have absolutely gorgeous weather this year. In addition, we got to debut our new EE tank tops for the very first time! They were perfect for running! However, the best part of the event was having some of our very special EE members to cheer us on – they came from as far as New Orleans and Chicago!
Although the course was physically challenging, those of us running stayed focus on the image of Emily. It was a bittersweet reminder of how lucky we are to have healthy lungs that can allow us to physically push our bodies to their limit. We want nothing more than for Emily to have the same. This event, and all of our other EE efforts, have always been about improving the life of Emily and the other 30,000 Americans living with CF. And so, although this race may be over, the marathon for EE has truly just begun, as we continue to fight, each and every day, towards finding a cure for CF.
Thank you as always for your support! See below for some pictures of the race.
