#GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to giving back by paying it forward. Here at EE, we feel indescribably grateful for an Entourage that exudes the giving spirit and reminds us of the power of paying it forward every single day of the year. As we prepare to launch this year’s annual campaign with our kickoff gala on December 13, we want to take a quick look back at our exhilarating year of impact. Read below to see what WE(E) have achieved together.
There is much to celebrate, but there’s still much to do. Today on #GivingTuesday, we thank you for your tireless commitment to Emily’s Entourage, and we call you to action to keep spreading the word, amplifying our voice, and strengthening our collective fight to help cure Cystic Fibrosis.

1. Connect with us on Social Media:
Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter e nossa Blogue and share posts about EE with your network using the hashtag #KeepCandlesComing. Get pumped for special December posts like #WishfulWednesdays and the annual campaign countdown!

2. Become an Ambassador:
Tell your friends and family about EE by sharing our story and forwarding the annual campaign email later this month. You can exponentially expand our impact with the click of a button! Also, don’t underestimate the power of word of mouth.

3. Support Emily’s Entourage:

Giving Thanks, Looking Back, Propelling Forward:
Thanks to friends and supporters like you, Emily’s Entourage has raised over $670K in 3 years! With this funding, Emily’s Entourage is making unprecedented strides in research on rare CF mutations. This year, EE awarded four research grants for innovative drug screening studies at the University of California San Francisco and McGill University. Next up in early 2015, EE is hosting a first-of-its-kind international research symposium focused on rare CF mutations in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Orphan Diseases. Things are happening –and it’s all because of YOU.

Emily’s Entourage harnesses the power of community to come together on the very important quest for a CF cure, and boy, does our community step up in support! From a team in the recent Philly Marathon and players in the first annual “Lobs of Love” doubles tournament to community members learning how to make an impact at EE’s first-ever Parlor Meeting and college students across the country showcasing their EE pride and fundraising prowess, this Entourage takes our breath away time and time again.

Emily’s Entourage is ringing out 2014 with a bang! On Saturday, December 13, EE celebrates the third annual Noite com a comitiva de Emily – this time in honor of Emily’s 30th birthday – and you’re invited!
